Speaking at a press conference in Strasbourg on 20 October 2021, they expressed concerns of draconian COVID measures stripping away the People's fundamental human rights, which the European Parliament professes to uphold. They also voiced concerns of staff members working for the European Parliament being forced to quit their jobs.
