A commenter on my Facebook post this morning, from a guy who clearly is 25-35 and a parent, used a term that is offensive and breaks the disability hate speech laws. He directed it at me, so I reported it and it was removed. The difficult bit to understand was his comment to me, clearly showing he had no idea what he had done wrong! I made this to highlight the fact it is too common to receive abuse from able people, the very same who would not use "N" against the black community but are quite okay with taking the mickey out of disabled people. No surprises really, when the government doesn't care either and breaks international conventions and is investigated multiple times for breaches of human rights.
