something very undesirable. But with the rise of advertising in the 20th
century, people were increasingly encouraged to want more and more, to become
greedy and to desire what other people have. When we look at what tends to
happen to most people is that they are never satisfied even when they get what
they desired. Instead they always want more and more. It is never enough.
