Sky News host Alan Jones says the Liberal Party is in massive trouble everywhere because voters are looking for national leadership, but "it doesn't exist".
It comes as the latest Newspoll figures show Labor is leading against the Coalition 53-47.
"The Morrison government would stand to lose between 6-10 seats ... and this was a quarterly analysis, so it's over a fair slab of time," Mr Jones said.
"The voter is looking for national leadership; it doesn't exist.
"The polls are telling us that the public understand, and if the Morrison government doesn't understand ... it cannot expect to remain in government no matter how bad the other side is."
