⁣Republicans have accused Nancy Pelosi of pushing aside Mayra Flores' daughter when the newly elected GOP congresswoman was sworn in last week.

Representative Flores said the House Speaker "elbowed” her daughter out of the way during the ceremony.

Many social media commentators criticised Ms Pelosi for her conduct.

Ms Pelosi's Deputy Chief of Staff Drew Hammill disputed the allegation, saying the incident has been "misrepresented."
