⁣A discussion between Dr Anne McCloskey and Prof. Dolores Cahill, on SARS-CoV2, prevention and treatments and the news that the NAATEC PCR Consortium [Dr. James Lyons-Weiler, Principal Investigator; Prof. Dolores Cahill, Consortium Co-Ordinator; Dr. Sin Hang Lee, Senior Research Scientist; Dr. Henry Ealy, Clinical Advisor; Kevin Jenkins, Communications Co-Ordinator] has obtained IRB [Ethics] approval within the USA of the Consortium's research protocol to sequence people with respiratory viral symptoms for SARS-CoV2. As well Ethics approval to sequence for Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), bacterial pneumonia, influenza A, influenza B and any other pathogens we suspect might be present in people with respiratory viral symptoms.
