⁣The PM of St Vincent & the Grenadines has been hospitalized after being hit by a stone hurled at his head during a protest about a proposed vaccine mandate for frontline health workers.
Ralph Gonsalves was passing through a mass of demonstrators outside parliament in Kingstown on Thursday when his assailant struck.
The PM was left bleeding profusely as an object smacked him inches above his temple – he was flown to Barbados for an MRI scan and is reportedly recovering in hospital after he stayed overnight for observation.
