Sky News host Cory Bernardi says Bill Gates set off sailing to look for "climate-saving farmland" on a yacht which emits "over seven thousand tons of carbon dioxide a year".
"Bill Gates, he's been sailing the seven seas on a voyage to search for hundreds of acres of climate-saving farmland to purchase," Mr Bernardi said.
He said Mr Gates wants to create a "large, sustainable farm".
"The only issue is, he set off on this climate crusade upon one of the world's worst polluting forms of transportation - a super yacht.
"His particular one dumping over seven thousand tons of carbon dioxide a year, making it the worst asset to own from an environmental standpoint."
