⁣During Premier Daniel Andrews’ latest “lecture,” the one thing he wouldn’t talk about was WorkSafe Victoria’s charges against the state’s health department, according to Sky News host Peta Credlin.

It comes as the Victorian Department of Health has been charged with 58 breaches of the Occupational Health and Safety Act over the Andrews government's hotel quarantine program in 2020, which led to the deaths of over 800 people.

On Thursday, when Premier Andrews was probed on the issue, he refused to comment, citing the fact it is now part of a “court process”.

According to Ms Credlin, WorkSafe “apparently can’t find any actual individual to prosecute”.

“It’s the department that’s on trial, not any of the people who run the department, even though a department can only act through individuals … it is such a farce,” she said.

“This isn’t going to go away … I’m not going to go away.

“And the 800 families, they won’t forget.”
