DUCK CURRY RECIPE IN ENGLISH | হাঁসের মাংস ভুনা রেসিপি |
DUCK CURRY a delicious duck curry
INGREDIENTS:
750g bite sized duck pieces
2 chopped onions
1 chopped tomato
2 tbsp garlic & ginger paste
2 tsp ground turmeric
1.5 tsp ground coriander
1.5 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground fennel
1 tsp Chilli powder or to your taste
0.5 tsp panch phoron or garam masala
4 green cardamoms
4 cloves
1 star anise
3×3 cm cinnamon stick.
2 fresh orange leaves
1-2 tsp salt
5 tbsp extra Virgin olive oil
4 cups hot water
1. Place in a saucepan the duck with enough water over the top add 1 tsp ground turmeric and boil for 5 minutes. Drain the water and set aside the meat.
2. Combine all the whole and ground Spices then add to the duck.
3. Add the rest of the ingredients (except water) then mix well.
4. Add 1 cup water cover and cook on medium to high heat for 15 minutes when the sauce evaporates add the second cup of water stir cover and cook for further 15 minutes.
5. Add 2 cups of water cover and cook for 30 minutes.
6. Finally simmer for 5 minutes.
7. Serve with rice or bread.

1-2 tsp salt
5 tbsp extra Virgin olive oil
4 cups hot water
