⁣Thousands of Chileans march in downtown Santiago and other major cities

The protests Monday marked the second anniversary of social unrest that led to rewrite of Chile’s constitution as the country nears another election.

More than 30 people died in the demonstrations in 2019 while President Pinera’s govt came under fire for their brutal response to the protesters.
