Upon outlining these harrowing events, Jesus summarized His warning saying, "Learn this lesson from the fig tree..." Many theologians and Bible scholars believe Jesus was prophesying the rebirth of thenation/state of Israel, 14 May 1948. This is the fifth in a nine-part series. In this video, Scott discusses the importance of understanding the times and what we should do, as well as the dire consequences of failing to recognize and heed the signs and warnings of God’s visitation. In addition Scott begins to examine Jesus’ introduction of the lesson of the fig tree and its connection to Israel, His second coming, and the end of the world.
