Vintage Brunner air compressor Flamingsteel

This is my 1948 Brunner air compressor. I picked this up off craigslist to run my PlasmCam cnc table. I had a cheapo Husky from hopeless depot but I just don't trust them since we live in a live/work studio here. Cheap is always dangerous since cheap is designed with money not safety in mind. On top of that they have a very low duty cycle and will burn out if you exceed that for long. The nice thing about this one is it will run all day, it is ten decibels quieter, makes dryer air and cleaner air. When I drain the tank on this one clear water comes out. on the husky it was a foamy mixture of oil and water. Switching to this older compressor has saved me big time in plasma tips due to cleaner dryer air. Anyway you can see more on this at my website... http://www.flamingsteel.com Under my vintage tool collection.
