I know pedestrians have right of way in a pedestrian crossing but so many times I have had to brake suddenly because some moron staring at his phone screen suddenly steps onto a pedestrian crossing - whilst he seemed to be walking past it. Very frustrarting for the driver and I honestly don't understand why people stare at their phone screens every minute of their lives.
