Another 'Golden Moldie'
⁣I recently shared a story with a guy about a happening with my broken lamp post. It hadn't worked in over a decade because I cut the power after a storm that all but demolished it. However, I noticed after installing a camera on my garage, it was suddenly generating a small amount of light.
I had just bought my surveillance system and hadn't yet figured out how to do clips so I videoed it from my monitor.
What I didn't explain here was, I was actually out there with a flashlight trying to physically see what I was seeing on the cctv yet, saw nothing.
Watch how it goes out as I shine my flashlight towards it.
As a former construction electrician, I have zero explanation for this because I metered it to make sure there was no power.
The other odd thing is, I took the bulb out to see if it was still intact and upon trying it indoors, found it still worked. However, after putting it back in, the phenomenon, never happened again.
I find that fascinating...
