Blues great Benny Elias has accused NSW of taking their opponents in the Origin opener, but says there's no chance history will repeat itself tonight in Sydney.

The heavily under-favoured Maroons fought back from a 10-0 down at half-time to run away with a 1-0 series lead by the final whistle, stunning the Blues in a 18-14 comeback.
The win sets Wayne Bennett's men up for a series victory should they emerge on top at ANZ Stadium tonight.
But Elias is "extremely confident" there is no chance of that happening.
"I'm extremely confident and that's the way the players should be feeling," Elias said on 1170 SEN's Mornings with Matty White.
