Look at this! An excellent find. An Australian news article from seventeen years ago regarding the use of surgical face masks during a 'SARS epidemic'. People are warned that they ARE ONLY SAFE FOR 20 MINUTES. Furthermore, the article exposes how PPE manufacturers and retailers were cashing in by scaring the public and were threatened with fines of up to AUS$110,000 for making unrealistic claims about the products. Note how the ones people are using nowadays actually say on the box that they do not protect against Covid19. You cannot blame them for false advertising on this occasion. Only the people for wearing them for not using the brains they were born with.
