At this stage of the roadmap, for businesses to be able to open at the 70 per cent vaccination rate all their staff need to be vaccinated, says NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro.
"And they'll only be dealing with vaccinated patrons or customers," he told Sky News host Paul Murray.
"It's a chance to open businesses earlier than what would be normally the 80 per cent or above that has been modelled previously.
"We want businesses to be able to open earlier."
