[email protected] for all 5 CDs, 63 songs...live gigs,
questions, comments, serving suggestions? You may have to explain to
your kids what "normal" is? The classic "Why, when I was your age...I
had to walk 3 miles in the snow" has taken on a new dimension. There's a
lot catching up needed for the youngest among us with what "used to
be." These supremely helpful songs (timely and timeless?) could spark
good conversations. Corey Leland & The INSECTS ROCK! collection is
effectively, "supplemental Normal." I'll send you the "Insect
Collection" a "box set" of the whole series for only $25.
(Inscribed/Autographed upon request..Lyrics are included in each CD.
Better education (in many ways) than "public" school. Check back as I am
sharing one song each day from "The Insects Rock!" catalog of 63 songs.
(on 5 CDs available from your friend, me.)

My intention in writing these songs was to advance the quality of human
beings. Closest thing I can think of to an actual "content of character
matters" campaign. Catchy songs is a good way to share a message, to
teach, to reach people. I never really planned to write/record for
children. I actively went the other way early in life when it was
suggested my style would work for that genre. Many years later, my first
professional songwriting/recording gig was as the first hired for a
kids/family musical. Turns out, children are just young people.
Everyone, no matter the age wants to feel safe, loved, respected,
appreciated, like they belong to something important, that they have a
real purpose for living. I never dumbed my songs down. I wanted to
create a brand the youngest among us could grow into for awhile.
Example. I will share later today a song called "It's more than a
blanket to me." In that episode (of the show I would create) everyone in
the family is growing/outgrowing something. A brand that would benefit
moms and dads just as much as their kids. My hope is that one day, many
years later there will be some that look back on how they loved the
songs as a kid and realize how deep and helpful those songs were...As
present day uncertainty looms, I'll continue to share the songs...even
if I am never commercially successful, God knows my intention and
persistent attempt to bring something higher to the human species.
