â£Craig Kelly MP sought to move amendments to the National Health Act 1953 to enshrine in law that 'free and informed consent' is required for all medical interventions - and to outlaw all forms of coercion and threats of prejudice or disadvantage if the person does not consent.
Both Liberal & Labor all voted against the proposal - and Mr Kelly was the only member of Parliament to vote for it.
