Mike Fairclough is an educator, published author and free speech advocate. As the only UK headteacher to publicly question lockdowns, masking kids and the Covid vaccine rollout to children, Mike was not alone in his beliefs. Other headteachers privately told him that they agreed with his stance but that they were worried that voicing their concerns would impact on their careers and relationships. This is despite every education professional having a legal, as well as a moral, duty to safeguard children against harm. Mike Fairclough is an internationally acclaimed educator, with over 25 years experience in the field. Throughout this time, he has been at the forefront of character education and developed an approach to self-development which embraces risk-taking, the concept of people moving out of their comfort zones and the building of grit and resilience. As an integral part of the school which he leads, Mike also runs a farm, which includes a herd a water buffalo, beekeeping and outdoor learning.
