Believe it when I see it!
Sky News host Chris Smith says the NSW government has looked to “take restrictions off” from the state more than any other jurisdiction in the country.
It comes as NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has paused plans until next year for the extension of the state’s pandemic powers after it was pushed in parliament by Health Minister Brad Hazzard.
“I think there’s a direct connection between what’s happened to Brad Hazzard’s powers and the powers he wanted to give Kerry Chant, the chief health officer, and what’s now unravelled,” Mr Smith told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“It’s not a correlation, it’s actually a connection.
“Throughout the pandemic, they (NSW government) have looked to take restrictions off the people of New South Wales more than any other jurisdiction, any state or territory in this country.”
