Pastor Bill Donahue does a great job of showing the hidden meanings in the Bible. in the Bible it says "if your eye be single your body will fill with light" If you close your eyes your third eye is single, When you meditate they call it putting oil in the "lamp" In the Bible it also says "God's temple is built in silence, without human hands and without tools" meditating to build God's temple "your head" the Bible also says God's temple is in you. Heaven is a higher consciousness that you reach through meditation, Not somewhere you go when you die. You can continue believing what you were taught, or open your mind up to a different possibility.
