WIKIPEDIA believes we're stupid. Northern Rock asked for liquidity Sept 2007 because of the 2008 crisis... At the same time the Lehman Brothers robbery is still being paid by tax payers. ⁣Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy on 15 Sept 2008 and Barclays bought a big chunk the very next day.
