Where do we find ourselves on the spectrum of selflessness vs. self-centeredness? Have you
experienced feeling some happiness inside when you did something for someone
else without any expectation for something in return?

This brings us to the question of what is our natural, eternal function. If we are meant to
be self-centered, hard hearted persons then we should be happy and peaceful
when we act in such a manner. But we all have experienced before how it felt
bad to hurt somebody in some way.
