⁣So-called "at-will" employment laws are supposed to allow companies to fire employees for any reason while also allowing employees to quit their jobs without giving any reason. But as a group of Wisconsin healthcare workers have discovered to their dismay, employers may prevent workers from quitting to take new jobs with better pay and benefits by suing in court and getting friendly judges to rule in their favor.
