⁣Herd immunity used to be as low as 30% natural acquired immunity for some infections to as high as 70 or 80%. It doesn't matter as any virus like this is going to spread and no running away. The key word is natural acquired immunity. B cells hold this for your life. The WHO tried to change the accepted definition of herd immunity last year and as far as I know were forced into changing it back.
